From an expedition to Morocco...

The whole next day we are driving around the dunes of Merzouga, sometimes picking up speed, sometimes slowly rolling over the crests of the dunes. All-wheel drive and flat tires to 0.8 atm help to feel quite confident on the surface of the desert. The curves of the dunes, what could be more beautiful than what Nature created? In the middle of the dunes, in the lowland, we come across a structure made of poles and old tires. "Hassi" in Arabic is a well. Literally at a depth of 4-5 meters in the well there is water!
The interior is in sand, the clothes are in sand, the hair is in sand, the cars are covered in fine yellow dust... We drive out onto something more or less resembling a road... I have always had a working Berkut R24 with me since ancient times, and I gave Alex a test Berkut R20 compressor for his car (he was smiling so much!). While I was walking around the car, opening the trunk and digging out my own, I heard my friend's voice: Serge, let's pump up all the wheels with the test compressor! Let's do it! The compressor is pounding steadily. The navigator is responsible for connecting the wires and orienting the compressor, the driver watches the pressure gauge needle... one wheel, the second, the third... four 33" wheels on the pickup are inflated! The compressor has warmed up, but has not stopped pumping. We boldly stick it into my 35" wheels, we don't even have to move the cars, the hose is long enough for both sides of my Arctic Trucks, and confidently give the wheels the necessary highway pressure!

We set out for Central Asia in three crews: me in my Land Cruiser 200, another Land Cruiser 100, and another 200th Land Cruiser with a female crew. The trip was planned as a leisurely reconnaissance trip with the most banal goals - to drive the route for the first time in order to take beautiful photos and videos for the viewers of my YouTube channel.
All the cars, except mine, were fully equipped. The only mandatory requirement was high-quality winter tires. Well, in addition to good tires, a reliable compressor for pumping them up is a must - anyone who travels a lot by car knows that you have to deflate and pump up tires regularly. Since part of our route ran along the mountain roads of the Pamir Highway, this was especially important. Considering that it was November, there was already snow on the peaks, in the snow and mud you need to increase the contact patch of the rubber with the surface and reduce the pressure as soon as you leave the asphalt. I have a stationary pumping system in my car based on the Berkut PRO-24. It helps a lot during the trip! The entire Pamir Highway became a testing ground for my stationary compressor system. I assembled it before leaving based on the stationary compressor "Berkut" PRO-24 and an aluminum receiver. Given the temperature and altitude changes, the compressor experienced serious loads. Several times the plastic tube on the receiver broke due to the engine heating. After returning, I replaced it with a reinforced hose and did not think about it anymore. The trip ended without technical breakdowns. All the cars and equipment proved their reliability.
